Taking Lulu for a walk in autumn often means a grooming session when she gets home.

Her curly coat picks up lots of seeds and she has to be brushed to get them out of her fur, especially on her legs and ears.

Actually, if the truth be known, they get everywhere.
She's not too fond of being brushed and wriggles a lot.

We have to be very careful not to catch her sensitive skin and hurt her.

In fact we all have to be contortionists to be able to brush her at all.

  1. oh Lulu, we feel your pain. we don't like being brushed or fiddled with either. just leave us alone and let us be dogs, we say. but humans must primp all over us and so what are we gonna do? you can squirm and wiggle all you want, but they are going to get their way. they always do.

you do look lovely though, so all of that grooming isn't going to waste!

Go on, say what's on your mind.
